This means that certain possibly occurring first faults in a safety relevant operational area can never lead to an unsafe condition. Any first fault can be recognized and treated according to alarm technical conditions, not only during a specific forced self-check phase of the system but even during the operational phase.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Thus, a second fault, potentially hazardous for man and material, cannot occur since any first fault is detected and its correction is forced before the system goes into operative mode again.
