Extended Alarm Diagnosis Function
In addition to the core operational system, GFT’s “Redundant Safety System” has long been our technical standard for fire training systems, going far beyond what regulatory safety standards – especially the German DIN 14097 – require.
Further development of this already above standard safety system lead to the “Extended Alarm Diagnosis Function”. This means that certain possibly occurring first faults in a safety relevant operational area can never lead to an unsafe condition. Any first fault can be recognized and treated according to alarm technical conditions, not only during a specific forced self-check phase of the system but even during the operational phase.
Thus, a second fault, potentially hazardous for man and material, cannot occur since any first fault is detected and its correction is forced before the system goes into operative mode again. GFT Fire Training Installations offer unequalled extra safety!
